Dr Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kailua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.
On July 9, one of our own, Fort Myers member Kimberly Becker of Labyrinth Consultants and A Purple Circle introduced us to "walking the labyrinth!" Compliments of the Sydney Berne Davis Art Center in downtown's river district, surfers walked the labyrinth after listening to speaker Kim Becker explain that "Society conditions us to look outside ourselves for answers." Unbelievable! On July 6, Cape Coral members ventured to Natural Family Physicians were we were greeted with fresh juice, veggies and chocolate covered strawberries and bananas. They're clinical staff made us feel welcomed and enlightened us with more knowledge on our mental stability is affected by our lifestyles. Noneen and Robbie shared their expertise and Candace told us about our emotions and positive affects of massage therapy. Two lucky members, Debbie and Linda won gift certificates for a massage along with a health consultation. Dr. Robert Buchanan, the staff's in house chiropractor, shared how when we are not aligned properly our blood has a harder time delivering and Dr. David Martin, a blood specialist showed us on a computer screen (with a pitch of our own live blood under a microscope) was busy doing. You can actually see infection, parasites and bacteria in your blood. The image is clearer than an ultrasound. This event was very informative. Special thanks to Noneen and her team for hosting and teaching us so much! Visit them at 4704 Vincennes Blvd, Cape Coral, FL 33904 239-540-1220 www.naturalfamilyphysicians.com ... We all learned so much and felt more than comfortable in the wine grotto!
"There are good ships and there are wood ships, ship that sail the sea. But the best ships are friendships and may they ALWAYS be!" We cheered! "Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue," we all agreed!

Some of the members changed their requests to something more G-rated!

October 1, 2007 "Positive Possibilities" A special thanks to our speaker Alex Geiser ...
The unbelievable artistry of Alex Geiser
Alex is an artist in the study of magic here in SW Florida. He's also an accomplished martial artist and fencer with a high regard for Bruce Lee's approach to disciplines.
Awesome job to all that brought their vision boards, we all enjoyed the observation of other's visions! It was a true art exhibit. Thank you for participating!
This was the challenge for those of you that missed:
Grab a poster board, a glue stick, scissors and any magazines you have laying around your house. Start by flipping through the mag's and cutting out pictures, sayings and thoughts that really catch your eye. Then sift through your stack and begin randomly gluing them onto your board. There should be NO method to the madness. Soon you will begin to see a pattern and you'll be either pleasantly surprised to see that you are living an attractive lifestyle or it will show you the direction you should move next to begin living the lifestyle YOU dream of. This is a great family project as my family did it and my husband and I were amused to see how many similarities there were in our boards. No, he didn't have pretty red pumps or a picture of Oprah and Bono on his - but he did have the same vacation ideas and the same desire for more family time. What an awakening. It was very refreshing to see what Savannah would be attracted to at the ripe age of 5 yrs and was I surprised --she put pictures of bugs and houses she liked; as well as, the typical cats, dogs, toys, cartoon characters, etc.
High Times with Ninth Wave Monday (8/6) was very uplifting, literally!!!! We wrote everything we wanted to let go of or get rid of on our helium balloons ... One person said intestinal gas and that started all kinds of hilarious words that were added to our balloons, it started off with the typical: body aches, lack of finances, war, fear, pride, cellulite, fatigue, yadda yadda then went to wrinkles, cramps, men, kids ... too much fun! Afterward we all went outside and each let our balloon disappear into the sky. So if anyone finds a balloon with 9th wave written somewhere on it, please don't give it back ... you can keep our fears, intestinal gas, PMS cramps and wrinkles, HA! For those of you that were there, thanks for participating ... For those of you that missed it, try it at home and don't forget once you let that go YOU CAN NEVER GET IT BACK!!!! You actually feel lighter; its the best diet EVER! Below are just a few blocks that hold us back, there are many many more. It may feel as if we are at war, guess what? WE ARE, so pick up your weapons and get busy, KO one block at a time or get them all on a balloon and LET THEM GO!!!!!
Lorre Diamond has been a Licensed Skin Care Therapist since 2002. She practices Holistic Skin Care and believes that it is all about what we put in our bodies as well as what we put on the skin that creates good health and healthy, vibrant skin. She has been eating organically for over 20 years and now uses Certified Organic Personal Care Products on herself, her friends, both men and women, and her clients. Three years ago she started questioning why breast cancer affects so many women. That very question led her to do extensive research in the area of personal care products and the direct connection they have with cancer. Lorre has written articles for magazines and has lectured at cancer support groups and women's groups. She now does Toxic Tours in homes and finds it eye opening for her clients. Knowing what chemicals lurk in skin care and makeup can make all the difference in the way you feel and the way you look. Zubie The Lightening Bug
A goal shared: To donate 25 Zubie books to Lifeline Family Center in Cape Coral...
Since 1996, Lifeline Family Center has been providing young women in crisis pregnancy a safe home and learning environment along with educational training, job training, professional counseling, parenting classes, and spiritual direction during this most important time in their lives. Our two-year Christian residential program prepares teen moms and their babies to become God-dependent, self-supporting, contributing members of society.
I'm sure these women would love something other than more deodorant, diapers and baby clothes ... This Mother's Day, I would like to present 25 new Mother's with a copy of the book Zubie the lighting bug ... www.zubiebug.com. I am collecting $18 from anyone wishing to donate for a signed copy. Most of us do not have time to give but $18 buys a life time of memories. GOAL ACHIEVED!!! Thank you!

Speaker: Stephanie Whiffen
Members were encouraged last Monday night to take a look at the big picture of financial success instead of just applying band aid's to their personal checking and savings accounts. Stephanie Whiffen, Assistant Vice President and Senior Mortgage Lender with Fifth Third Bank in Cape Coral, generously shared her tales and adventures in money management. She expressed that the "Power of Confidence" is key and suggested everyone ask themselves, "What's the worst that can happen?"
"Bottom line ..." she said, "Empower yourselves with knowledge, take risks to establish experience and motivate yourselves to write down your goal, the financial reward comes when feel the accomplishment of checking the achieved box on your list!"
Thank you a gazillion times, Stephanie, for your time and complimentary feast on finances and the significance of getting involved!
A true "aphrodisiac", striptease is erotic and sensual but it is also very liberating! Sherri Enos had these 9th wavers rolling their hips and slapping their knee's as they all learned new moves to try out on Feb. 14th!
The sexy side of physical exercise! Your inner confidence gets a kickstart for Valentine's Day after an evening with Sherri Enos and Ninth Wave.
"Sexy comes from the inside out; not the outside in, so put the call to your plastic surgeon on hold until you understand this concept!"
There were smiles, giggles and impressive hip thrusts going on in the Grand Foyer of the Bellagio Model Home, several guests went home with a CD full of the "nasty girl" songs to remind them of the thrills we all shared!
Thank you Sherri for your time, expertise and your energy!
