Stacie Crist-Harmon was raised on the beaches of Malibu. As a California girl, she believes in the surfing philosophy ... "Like surfing, sometimes the toughest part of life is simply paddling out!" An adventure seeker by nature, she rides the fierce waves of life searching for the sweet spots! As a former flight attendant, she lapped the globe several times. Stacie currently works as a hairstylist at Envy Salon in Cape Coral and is writing a novelty book about secrets men share when you run your fingers through their hair. Together with her daughter, she has created a children's animation series currently in development, about young surf enthusiasts on the hunt for the perfect wave. She feels strongly about being a working role model but spending time with her child is top on her priority list, "they are only little so long." Ninth Wave helps keep her balanced and focused!

Growing up in southern CA, image is Everything! We had a nice home along with nice cars in the garage. I owned a successful business, had a handsome husband, a happy and healthy little girl and even a well-behaved "golden retriever" ... I had it all. As long as I performed, life ran smoothly. But suddenly, a spoke broke loose and I lost control ... of my balance, my emotions, and my life. The goals I set for myself no longer had clarity. The more I put on my plate the more my focus blurred. I fooled myself for awhile but it wasn't long before the inevitable happened. Depression got the best of me! Depression bites without barking and I still have the scars to prove it! It took me almost a year to realize what was happening. I decided to take charge, roll my sleeves up and well ... go surfin'. That was a difficult task considering I now live in Cape Coral, FL where there are no waves, barely a ripple. I tried to do it alone but I was pulled into riptide after riptide, so I asked others to join me in the challenge of "taking back my life!" We now have 42 members of Ninth Wave! I am especially grateful for the lessons the tides have taught me. The dynamic women I have met through creating this group prove that there are very ordinary women; with way more on their plates that I ever dreamed of, still making extraordinary achievements. I am proud to be amongst them. A special thanks to God for directing me and introducing me to the challenge of Ninth Wave.
